Obituary for John Hamilton

John Marshall Hamilton, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away on August 6, 2018. He was 74 years old.

John was born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 3, 1944, to Lafave and Alisan Hamilton (McCain). He attended Arizona State, earning a Bachelor’s Degree. He went on to earn his Master’s Degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University.

He married Judy (Wilson), and they were blessed with three wonderful children together; Glenn, Paul, and Kyle. In 2006, Judy passed away.

John worked as a civil engineer, focusing on water. In the longest and final chapter of his career he worked at Muller Engineering. John was active and he enjoyed racquetball, biking, skiing, rafting, camping, and spending time at the cabin that he built.

In 2008 he married Patricia Lindgren, and became beloved step-father and grandfather to the entire Lindgren clan.

John was preceded in death by his wife Judy Hamilton, and his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Patricia Hamilton; sons: Glenn (Laura) Hamilton, Paul (Dusty) Hamilton, Kyle (Amy) Hamilton; sisters: Joanne See and Diane Jeffcott; grandchildren: Dani, Michael, Parker, Darby, Sage, Blake and Heidi; and the entire Lindgren family.
