Services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 10:30 am, at the Shepherd of Love Fellowship Church in Broomfield, Colorado.

A second service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 10:30 am, at the Jackson Lytle Ingling-Williams & Lewis Funeral Home in Springfield, Ohio.

Betty June Lockwood passed away peacefully in Broomfield, Colorado, on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the age of 97. She was born in Lincoln, Kansas, on June 28, 1921 to parents Carl and Ruth Woody. She spent her formative years in nearby Victor, Kansas. She taught special needs students for 28 years, and was a church pipe organist for 40 years in Springfield, Ohio where she raised her children. She lived the last 14 years in Broomfield, where her son, Joseph, and his wife reside.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her siblings, Merwin Woody, Elwyn Woody, Ruth Leach, and John Woody; her first husband of 12 years, Joseph H. Huddle, her second husband of 36 years, Charles M. Lockwood; and a son, Jack C. Huddle. She is survived by her son, Joseph J. Huddle (Virginia), her daughter, Celia R. Williams; her step-children, Thomas E. Lockwood (Linda), Patty S. Dibert, Ronald R. Lockwood, Carol M. Rogers (Keith); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family members.
