Obituary for
Ruby Mae Harvey
Ruby Mae Harvey, longtime resident of Broomfield, passed away on August 1, 2018 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Westminster. She was 86 years old.
Ruby was born in Montrose, Colorado on July 4, 1932, to Milan (Mike) and Marie (Hofferber) Malcolm. She was raised in Longmont, Colorado.
She married her high school sweetheart, Lloyd Harvey Jr. on December 27, 1953. Together they had three sons; Norman, Randy and Wesley.
Ruby worked several jobs over the years, primarily administrative assistant, but most recently she was a floating secretary/administrative assistant with King Soopers for over 14 years.
Ruby had many hobbies and activities she enjoyed spending her time doing, including reading her Bible, painting, crafting & making greeting cards, bowling, playing piano, traveling and taking road trips with the girls.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Harvey Jr., her parents, Milan (Mike) and Marie Malcolm; a son, Wesley Harvey and a brother, Milan (Junior) Malcolm Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Norman (Barbara) Harvey, Randy (Linda) Harvey; siblings, Dorothy Carter, Ella Marie Hastman, Charles Malcolm, Carol Rediess, Roger Malcolm; grandchildren, Jennifer Harvey, Kristen Harvey, Lindsay Miller, Heather Champlin, Steven Harvey; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Ethan, Elly, Joshua, Emma, Benjamin, Ashlynn, and Lucas.
