I feel blessed to have grown up with both Grandma and Pop-Pop. I will always remember going to their house in NJ and looking for hot air balloons (or secretly hoping one would fall in their back yard). I remember feeding the cows and horses with Pop-Pop and getting to sit on his construction vehicles. I always looked forward to playing Pop-Pop's homemade cornhole game and the construction board game or seeing what puzzle they were working on. Grandma and Pop-Pop took me and my sister to the model train museum in NJ and downtown New Hope, PA when we were kids and I remember we had so much fun. And now, so many years later, I've taken my own daughter to both places and she loved it just like I did. In fact, my daughter wants to go back to the train museum on her birthday. I will miss Pop-Pop greatly but the memories I had with him will always be in my heart.
With Love, Paul's grandaughter, Nicole
