Condolence From: Rev. Gary Arnold
Condolence: From 1968 through 1977 it was Mary Jean who kept this BUMC on an even keel. As administrative assistant, she was everything to her church which she dearly loved and served so unselfishly, faithfully and consistently for over 13 years. Now, after 40+ years of ministry I understand how perfectly she embodied loving, dedicated service in a way NO other person in my circle of acquaintance matches. May Jean, you lived as close to a perfect life as anyone I've ever known. Thank you for your friendship. Gary

Condolence: I had the privelage of caring for Mary Jean the last few months of her life, and she was the favorite part of my Sunday! Sadly I would of enjoyed knowing her before...she shared with me that she had relocated to Colorado from LeMars, Iowa - near where I grew up! And it always put a smile on her face when we talked of life in LeMars! I will miss our visits and time spent together. I will always cherish our ride to thefoothills about two months ago, and her comment "I forgot the beauty of this place, it never ceases to amaze me" so lucky to have touched her life here in Colorado. Rest, in peace, dear lady.

Condolence: Mary Jean was a wonderful lady and friend of my family's at the Methodist Church. She raised three wonderful sons from the time her boys were small. I got acquainted with her and her sons at church. She lived a long and faithful life to our Lord and God. Rest In Peace, Mary Jean
