The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Nicholas LeMieux can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Mr. LeMieux's stories

We loved Nick LeMieux's stories.

He loved his Peugeot, he said it was the Cadillac of France.  Driving a car fast "insults the engine".

He was a self-defense instructor in the Army.  Early in his career, at a different school, a student made the mistake of threatening him with a knife.  He bolted when  Mr. LeMieux lept over the desk at him.

His bees made a great batch of honey in a wheel well or tire.  That honey was made into wine.  (We didn't get to sample it, of course)  Here in Ireland we call it mead.  The next time and I hope every time I enjoy a glass of mead I shall think of you Mr. Nick LeMieux!
